Foolish Puckboy | Eden Finley & Saxon James

First off Finley and James really know how to bring the shenanigans in books and the Queer Collective never ever disappoints in the shenanigans department! Aleks and Gabe’s “meet cute” is just epic.  The visuals they provided readers had me laughing so hard I was crying!

Aleks meets the hottest man he’s ever seen, and he is a fireman no less.  Fresh off a divorce, in a new city and totally ready to mingle, Aleks finds himself less confident than he thought he would be.  But he cannot get the hot firefighter out of his mind.

Gabe is a little bit of a playboy and is good with causal. He has his job and found a family, he is happy with where his life is at.  When he is out on a call and comes across a quirky group of really hot men full of tattoos he is very intrigued.  So when Aleks also shows interest he is very interested.

From the first interaction I was rooting for this pair, and how laid back and go with the flow Gabe is with Aleks just made my heart so happy.  These two have not only an electric sexual chemistry but they truly embark on  building an amazing friendship.  And their competitive banter is amazing- especially when Gabe shows his competitive side.   The only flaw I found with Gabe was his disinterest in hockey….I mean, what!?!?! Good thing Aleks was just as flabbergasted as I was!  How this duo navigated complicated schedules and demanding jobs really demonstrated that when it is the right time and person things can work, it takes a little patience and creativity!

I have said it before, but I will say it again; Finley & James have true gifts in building amazing found families, and the Queer Collective is simply amazing as it incorporates so many of my favorite characters from so many series! This crew is supportive, nosey, and there when they are needed! If you haven’t read this series yet you need to. Another amazing addition to the Puckboys series, and I cannot wait to see what comes next….there were several teases….which is also something this author duo does extremely well!!!
