Better than Sexy is a standalone novel and told in Dual POV from the third person. This series has interconnected characters and the secondary storyline is connected. I read this book as a stand alone as I had not read the two previous stories in the series. I did go back and read the previous two after finishing book three. The series is powerful; exploring friendship, second chances and rising above what you think your destiny is.
Carly Phillips has a way of showing how love how powerful love and desire can be. She creates such a strong connection between the reader and the characters. It is this connection that keeps you coming back for her stories. You will come to the end of this story knowing that love above all else is everything. If you believe in HEA, the power of love and good friends you absolutely need to read Better than Sexy! The story earned everyone of the 5 stars!
