Love Wells Kept by Bailey Hannah
The best of Wells Canyon.
Love Wells Kept is my favorite book in the Wells Canyon series and the most emotional reading experience I’ve had in a long time.
I did not know if I was going to get through the aftermath of Jackson’s accident, but I am so glad I pushed through. The traumatic brain injury details are well researched and handled with care. This book feels like real life in the best and most gutting way possible. Additionally, another tragedy runs through this story that I will not spoil, but it adds to the weight of everything Kate already carries. My heart broke for her.
What moved me most was watching Jackson rediscover Kate, his children, and his family. He can sense something special about her even without his memories, and that feels fated. Care and devotion are the words that keep coming back to me. No one lets him give up. Watching this family fight for each other through the pain was deeply moving.
This story creates an entirely new dynamic for Jackson and Kate that sets it apart from everything that came before. You can read it without having read the rest of the series, though I recommend all of them. Moreover, getting to spend time in Wells Canyon one more time and seeing all the couples living their best lives was everything I needed.
I was not ready for this book. And I cannot wait to see where Bailey Hannah takes us next.
