Mary B. Moore is BACK, and Out of Bounds is exactly the kind of rom-com, sports romance goodness I expect from her. This book kicks off a brand-new series from Moore, and is set in the Kristen Proby With Me in Seattle World. If you love instant attraction, hilarious meet-cutes, and a football-playing hero who falls hard, you’re going to adore Kip and Ashley.
Ashley isn’t your typical heroine—she’s determined, a little stubborn, and definitely not expecting to meet a ridiculously handsome pro football player while climbing a trellis at her brother’s house. But that’s exactly how she crashes into Kip’s world—literally. And let me tell you, Kip is the perfect mix of swoony and protective with just enough cocky athlete energy to make things interesting. Their connection is instant, but Ahsley doesnt want anything to do with another relationship with a athlete. What really makes this book shine is the way Mary B. Moore builds their relationship with banter, hilarious moments, and a chemistry that sparks off the page.
Both Kip and Ashley come with baggage—bad exes, past heartbreaks, and a few trust issues. But instead of unnecessary drama, we get a couple who actually communicates (gasp!) while still bringing all the fun, flirty, and steamy moments we love in a Mary B. Moore rom-com. If you’ve been missing Mary B. Moore’s writing, Out of Bounds is the perfect comeback. It’s laugh-out-loud funny, packed with swoon-worthy moments, and has a hero who knows exactly what he wants—and that’s Ashley. While it isn’t my favorite book by Mary B. Moore is is worth the read.
