Ward “Hollywood” Garrison meets his new neighbor Mac Davis and is smitten from the moment he lays eyes on her. He doesn’t care that she is his neighbor, he doesn’t care that she is pregnant with another man’s baby. He is going to do what he needs to do to make her his. However, that isn’t as easy as he hopes. Mac fights against her attraction with everything she can, and you question why, but as the story unfolds it makes sense.
The Court of Mayhem MC is the type that they toe the line of the morally grey, they do what needs to be done for the good of others. They are a close family that find the good in things even when they are ensconced in the bad. The side characters of the MC and Ophelia are the perfect midline to the couple themselves.
Mac and Ward complement each ither perfectly… and the way he is with Squish (you have to read to find out) is equally perfect. He is a guy that you can’t help falling for, and add him as another book boyfriend to the list. But I also love that Mac isn’t some simpering fool. You get her story at the end, and you understand her arc so much more, and all the little things make sense in the best ways.
That being said… if we do not get a Glitch and Kat story, I may revolt.
