This is my first book by Morgan Elizabeth, but I was not disappointed in it. This book was the perfect holiday book. It far surpasses the Die Hard Christmas test, and is a book that you do not want to miss. Abbie is heartbroken after her boyfriend of four years breaks up with her and decides that she is going to get revenge on him by dating his unsuspecting boss. Damien is such a swoony hero who creates a safe space for Abbie to be exactly who she is. I loved this book and their relationship and the way in which it organically moves forward. These are two people that are truly the one half of the same whole, and there is an element in the story about this that is just adorable. Abbie is a character that shows growth, but also shows that you need to embrace who you are and not change for anyone.
