Big Deck Energy | Kim Loraine

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book, so I just dove in without reading the blurb.  I LOVE every single thing that Kim Loraine has given readers so far, so I had high hopes for this book. And bok besties, she delivered.  This is a quick read that packed a whole lot of goodness into this little gem of a book.  Where do I start, Elyse is sassy and she has amazing friends that support her and encourage her to do what she loves.  And are not afraid of telling her the truth.  She also has style and a sassy cat.  Then there is Ethan. He is a British hockey player.  Besties, a BRITISH HOCKEY PLAYER.  Need I say more. (This audio is going to be epic, and I CANNOT wait!) He is quick witted and the banter in this locker room was stellar and very colorful with the array of different accents.  Also, Ethan and Elyse’s meet cute is seriously amazing. Elyse gets the courage to message @BigDeckEnergy on a dating app and insults him.  One would think that this is where it ends, but nope Loraine did an amazing job with the quick witted banter between these two and they built a fun and flirty friendship.  But when the pair met, the sparks were flying. 

I adored how she wove some of my favorite characters and storylines from Montana into this book without overcrowding the pages.  We also got just enough of the teammates to leave us wanting more….trust me the Seattle Cyclones will quickly become some of your favorite book boyfriends! If you are new to Kim Loraine this is a perfect place to start because TRUST me you will be reading the rest of her books very shortly!
