This book has been on my TBR since it came out, and I kept putting it off. But I should not have. Trent has been looking for the twin sister of Charlotte from the book, Playing for keeps, and he finds her. But he finds so much more. Sawyer/Cheyenne has become a new person, forced from a world that she felt trapped in when circumstances changed, and she saw just how far to the bottom she has gotten. She is resilient and caring. She loves her little girl without question.
This small town of Whitecap that she has ended up in, has brough both her and Renee into their fold. She has some truly amazing relationships with the people who surround her. Trent comes in, and her whole world changes. There are moments of happy and moments of sad. There is a rivalry between Trent and Sam, a friend’s spouse, that you don’t want to miss. This story gave me a little bit of everything, and I wish I had read it sooner. I am really hoping that we get a book two because bestie Luna definitely needs a story. Prince has a knack for a small-town story that you won’t’ want to put down.
