Review of Modern Gentleman by Meghan Quinn
Who doesn’t love a book filled with Laugh Out Loud Moments? There is something about a love story that makes you laugh and cry. This was a fun fast read.
The writing off this book was fantastic and because it was mostly written in the Male point of view it gave such a unique perspective to the story telling and character development.
June was not an easier character to love. Because of the male POV and how men preserve the world around them and others behavior I honestly think that played a large part in my dislike of her. You do feel like you only get half the story, that Wes isn’t telling us everything. By the end of the story I couldn’t help but love her and her no nonsense mentality. I like that she is strong minded and did not fall for Wes’ crap.
This book played heavily on the “How to lose a guy in 10 Days“ however the ending did not play out like I thought it would. It wasn’t typical. The end was amazing and so freaking funny! Wes is really the modern gentleman. He is one of the funniest characters I’ve read in a long time. I found him super attractive. This was a 4/5 read for me. If you are looking for a fun easy quick read, you should absolutely check out the Modern Gentleman.
