Eva Simmons is a new to me author and the tropes really had me intrigued! I love an MC romance, and cowboy romance but a combo had me so excited! Prepare yourself because the small town of Lanceleaf Valley, Texas the drama is not in short supply! 

Harloe and Shane’s meet cute could not have been better! A runaway bride literally running from her small town wedding down the deserted 2 lane road! And a hot new to town biker stumbles upon her! YES, please! Shane is more than happy to stop to help! These two had an instant connection and ease with one another.  They most definitely tried to keep their feelings under wraps but those around them could see what was really happening. 

Shane is in the quiet sleepy town to build something a new safe haven for the Ironside Ridge MC club. Shane is trusted amongst the club and has been known to have fun. But something about this small town and Harloe really made him reconsider his life in Las Vegas.

I enjoyed getting to know the people in Lanceleaf Valley and like I said the drama was never in short supply- as the town was divided on oil drilling vs those wanting to keep the land for cattle and ranching. The suspense and nefarious goings on made it hard to put this book down! There is an entire cast of characters that we are introduced to as well! I can’t wait to see who’s life the wine club will meddle in next! Shane and Harloe so desperately tried to just be friends and a fake couple but their connection was so electric they literally couldn’t keep their hands off one another.  Shane was always looking out for Harloe while not holding her back he just had her back. And Harloe quietly took care of Shane and became his safe landing space.
