The Seven Rings by Nora Roberts
A Perfect Finale to a Hauntingly Beautiful Trilogy
The Seven Rings is the perfect conclusion to Nora Roberts’ Lost Bride Trilogy—emotional, eerie, and deeply satisfying. It ties together every thread of Sonya’s journey, blending romance, friendship, and a touch of the supernatural in a way that only Roberts can.
I received an advanced listener copy of this one, and I’m so glad I did. Brittany Pressley once again delivers an incredible performance, capturing every bit of heart, humor, and tension. She’s truly brought this entire cast of characters to life over the course of the trilogy.
Sonya and Trey shine as a couple, but I also loved watching Cleo and Owen’s relationship grow. Roberts has such a gift for creating multiple love stories that feel equally important, each one adding something beautiful to the whole. The ghosts of Poole Manor, especially Molly, Jack, and Clover, play a bigger role here, and I adored how their stories wove into the final battle against Hester Dobbs. The way everything and everyone came together to break the curse felt so rewarding.
There’s suspense and loss, but also light, love, and closure. The series has all the things I love about Roberts’ writing—her mix of lore, magic, mystery, and romance—with a touch of seasonal spookiness that makes it a perfect fall read.
Nora Roberts has long been my most-read author and one of my all-time favorites. Her books are comforting rereads for me, and The Lost Bride Trilogy has definitely earned its spot on that list.
Phenomenal finish to an amazing series. Read it in order for the full impact—you won’t want to miss a single moment of this hauntingly romantic ride.
