The Hero She Loves | Anna Hackett

I really tried hard to savor this book knowing it was the last in one of my favorite series ever, but I couldn’t.  I binged this book in one sitting….because I was literally on the edge of my seat!

 US Marshall Jenna Sheidan is after a highly trained killer in the Alaskan wilderness, and she needs help to catch the bad guy.  Who better else to help than someone that has the same training.  That is where Parker Conroy.  Parker left the Ghost Ops and wanted to live quietly away from people.  While he still considered himself close to his Ghost Op buddies he didn’t mind the life of solitude….until Jenna. US Marshall Jenna Sheridan is as fierce, talented and smart as they come.  But she feels like she has a lot to prove- to herself. When the bad guy got away in the Wilderness of Alaska she knew she needed to call in for backup and back up came in the form of Parker Conroy. 
I love how initially this pair was attracted to one another based on their intelligence and skills, the physical attraction quickly followed because competence is just plain sexy and these two are so very competent! The ride the Hackett took us on was WILD. I thoroughly enjoyed every.single.word! The twists, the turns, and the action were amazing and you could feel the tension and when the bad guy began making mistakes you knew they were closing in! One of the best things about any book Anna Hackett writes is that there is no doubt that Vander Norcross is going to find a way to help or provide some assistance.  I am never ever sad to see him show up and it makes me so happy these amazing heroes have someone at their back always.  If you are a fan of action movies, heroes finding women that bring them to their knees and found families that show up for each other, this book and series is a must read, in my opinion! Anna Hackett writes some of the best romantic suspense out there and I look forward to her releases! I can’t wait to see what she has in store for readers next!
