Review of Coffee Girl

Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair

You read a title of a book and you instantly know that the book is your kind of story.  That was me and Coffee Girl.  I mean seriously Coffee Girl; it was meant to be.  This story has all my favorites in it. The over the top gay best friend, tormented kitty, the crazy out of touch sister, a brother with a huge heart and the super supportive friend.  The book is filled with such great characters! I haven’t even begun to tell you about the main characters Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes and Tatum Reed.

I can’t remember the last time I found this kind of instant love of a book.  I made the mistake of starting the book later in the evening.  (Don’t do that friends) You will need to read this whole book in one sitting.  I stayed up until the early hours of the morning so I could finish it!  Kiki and Tatum’s story, has it all!

It is hard to believe this a debut novel for Sophie Sinclair.  The story line is perfectly plotted with well thought out characters.  The story doesn’t ever drag.  At the start of the book my first thought of Tatum was dude is a dick, I am not going to like this guy, I kind of wanted to punch him in the face. As the interaction between him and Kiki move forward you are rooting for him.

This is not your typical music star romance and I couldn’t ask for a more brilliantly written one.  I could not have asked for a better Meet Cute, honestly running into someone and spilling coffee down your shirt is totally something that would happen to me.  Frankly a day doesn’t go by that there isn’t coffee somewhere on my shirt.  This is an amazing book and story by Sinclair and I simply can not wait for her next novel.  Grab a cup of coffee and be ready to fall in love with Kiki and Tatum. This book has earned everyone of the 5/5 stars!
