Lani Lynn Vale releases a book and I read it. She is one of my automatic one-click authors. I was so excited to hear that she was creating a series in Accident when it was introduced at the end of the Battle Crows series. You do NOT need to read that series to start this one. Wake Westfield is getting out of jail after being convicted for being a vigilante killer. Dutch Panchek is doing what she can to make her world a safe place for those around her. These two meet in person, and there is an instant connection. Wake does what he can from jail, and then what he can once he gets out. I really enjoyed this story that Vale creates. There are often over the top moments, but they work and make sense. If you haven’t read Vale before, you can pick up anywhere in her series, and you will not be disappointed.
