Allie met Wade when she was a witness to a crime, and they had the start of something. However, circumstances tear them apart and it is years before they see each other again. The man that Allie put into prison with her testimony is out, and she is in danger. Enter Wade, who will do anything to protect her. This follows their working toward finding out who is behind the leak of Allie’s location as well as the two of them coming to terms with their relationship. The two of them had such an intense connection ehnt hey first met, and you get little snippets in flashback form, but they weren’t able to pursue something then. Wade has decided that since Allie is back in his life, nothing will stop him from claiming her as his. We get more of the mysterious Jax, and I look forward to his book. And we check in with Noah and Maggie from book one, and learn a little more about Dec. Who will help round out this 4 book series. If you haven’t read Anna Blakely yet, this is a great series to start with!
