An Endless Memory | Marie Johnston

I never expected to fall in love with Crocus Valley, North Dakota or the Knight family, but I did.  Therefore, this book was a little bittersweet for me as Eliot is the last Knight sibling to find his person.  I have simply ADORED the Knight family.  This family was lost and there was so much damage done by their parents I wasn’t sure how they would fare.  But I should not have worried because Marie and this Knight crew pulled together and became the family we would all love to be a part of.

We really didn’t get to know Eliot much in previous books, but he is such a softie and has such a big heart.  He manned the ranch back in Montana and took care of things so his siblings could find their happiness in Crocus Valley.  I really feel like Eliot had a lot of emotions and pent up angst from his childhood.  He took on keeping the ranch so his siblings could get away, but he stayed and longed for the visits with the other Knights.  Until he meets Lilly, the new in town single mom that works at the vet clinic.
Lilly sure has a lot on her plate being a single mom to a baby and toddler along with working full time at the vet clinic.  I was just exhausted reading all that she did! And friends Marie did not sugar coat motherhood with a new baby and toddler, BUT really highlighted some of the best parts, too! Her toddler, Cali, sure light up the page and I quickly became a fan! Lilly is down on her luck and really hates to ask for help; so she doesn’t.  But Eliot sees right through it very quickly and when the two marry so Lilly can keep her house I squealed in delight because marriage of convenience is my absolute favorite.

While Eliot and Lilly might be almost strangers they clearly have a pull towards one another and they quickly become close friends and more. These two have amazing chemistry and banter and lit the pages on fire.  If you love small towns, meddling family, sibling banter and a little chaos for good measure this definitely needs to be on your kindle ASAP! To say I am looking forward to what Marie has in store for us next is a huge understatement….the Duke family tease was so great and the wait is going to be so worth it!
