Mine.” had me swooning. Roark doesn’t speak, but he doesn’t need to. His presence, his actions, and the quiet tenderness threaded into every glance and gesture toward Lyra say everything.

Andrews’ world-building is intricate and rich, with a magic system unlike anything I’ve read before. The concept of soul bones and melding is both eerie and captivating, laced with high stakes and a sense of ancient power. The Norse and Scandinavian influences add a grounded, mythic feel that makes the story all the more compelling.

And the supporting cast? Phenomenal. There’s a true found family here, loyal, messy, and endearing. Thane completely stole my heart. I hope he gets a book.

The twists? One I saw coming like a shadow on the horizon, but the other? It hit me like a punch to the face and somehow made everything more meaningful.
