I think if you look up “good guy” in the dictionary you would find a picture of North Paquette.   North is steady, loves hockey, and is a good friend. North is also hooking up with  his teammate and friend’s sister….in secret.  I love this trope so much and the banter and text convos that they  have were amazing and added so much to the storyline for me.  I was also loving North’s very dirty mouth which was a HUGE surprise! North really is giving all of the perfect book boyfriend vibes.  He plans the most fun dates and presses Farren for more but still respects her boundaries. 

Farren Abrams is sort of a drifter and sort of goes where the wind takes her; which is how she ends up in Philadelphia in her brother Rafferty’s guest bedroom.  Farren is an interesting girl- she definitely wants people to believe that she is flighty and just down for some fun but she doesn’t give off that vibe.  I really liked how Rafferty, her girlfriends and North really press her on what she actually wants and in turn making her really face her fears. 

Brothers best friend and friends with benefits to more are always my favorite books so having them together was such a treat! North and Farren were electric between the sheets, and North worked overtime to show Farren that they had so much potential as a couple! As Atlas said, hooking up with your teammate’s sister is risky but obviously so worth it for North and Farren! I really enjoyed Rafferty and North’s books with parallel timelines and the breadcrumbs and teasing for Penn’s book really makes the waiting for him so hard, but I know that it is going to be amazing! If you love hockey romances with an amazing team dynamic and strong girl gangs this is a must read series in my opinion!
