Whiskey Flirt | Walker Rose

The way Walker Rose describes Huckleberry Springs, Montana really makes me want to pack up and move there- I would most definitely hang out at Dee’s all day watching the town mosey on by.  I am sure Cruz would stop by daily because this man is OBSESSED with Elodie in the best way possible.  The way that he shows her the kind of man he is. From the way that he takes to her family, supports her baking and isn’t afraid to get in there and help out. But Elodie also notices a lot of things that Cruz would like people not to notice like the way he, his truck, to his house are spotless.

Elodie might be back in her hometown but she isn’t letting people close to her…even her family. I think what Walker highlighted here is just what a tenacious and hard working woman Elodie really is.  Elodie wants nothing more than for her bakery to be a success and from the outside it looks that way, but the more success she gets the more her past keeps popping up.

From the outside one would’ve thought that Elodie was the only guarded and hurt one in this pair, but Cruz also has his share of hurt, too.  These two are such a spectacular pair that really balance one another out and talk about a hard fought HEA these two worked hard to find their way together! If you love a small town with hidden pasts this book and series is a must read!
