Colin Campbell has been put through the ringer by his ex-wife. He has finally gotten to a place where he is content in his life and situation with his son, Noah. Millie Solanski lives in the house next door to him, and she is the antithesis of his ex. Millie is sweet, caring, and selfless. Colin tries to keep away, but life keeps forcing them together. And he soon realizes that he needs to stop fighting fate and move forward. I really enjoyed Millie’s interaction with everyone in Colin’s life, and that she didn’t shy away from the Dimarco family (not that Jack Dimarco allows that to happen). While this is not my favorite story from Jennifer Hanks, it was a entertaining read, and I loved revisiting this world. And Colin deserved to get his HEA.
