As Long as It Takes by Jill Francis

A charming, low-stakes summer romance worth picking up.

As Long as It Takes was a lovely, low angst summer read.

Andrea is easy to love from the start, anxious and endearing in the best way. Lora took me a little longer to warm up to since she comes across as a bit rude early on while navigating the citizenship process, but I appreciated watching her open up over the course of the book. I loved discovering that their stories were running parallel in New York before they even met, without either of them realizing it.

Baia Santa is a beautifully rendered setting, full of charming residents, without ever overshadowing the central romance. Lora and Andrea both know their time together has a built-in expiration date, which gives their eventual breakup a natural shape and made their return to each other for the HEA feel satisfying.

This was my first Jill Francis book and I enjoyed it. A charming, low-stakes summer romance worth picking up.
