Marie Johnston hits it once again with An Endless Memory, the book in the Oil Barron’s series. Eliot (I love the spelling BTW) and Lily’s story is one that you won’t want to miss. Eliot is a man that is locked in the past. Much like his siblings he is fighting the memories of both his parents, and they weigh him down so much more than he realizes.

Lily is a woman that left a not so great situation, only to find herself fighting for what she needs. Enter Eliot and a meet cute that kept me laughing. And turns into a marriage of convenience in which it allows her to keep her house. She is a single mom to Cali and Kellan, and loves these kids with all that she has. Lily struggles with the balance, all the while making sure her kids are happy.

The dynamic between this two is everything I want and need in a story. There is angst, family issue, emotional turmoil and lots of love. The Barron family love hard, but they have been dealt a crap hand and it has taken a lot for them to work through it. Lily introduces the next series with her large family with the Knights. Which I am BEYOND excited to dive into.

An Endless Memory is a great end of the series, and I am sad to see this family go. If you have yet to read Marie Johnston, you need to read her ASAP. You will not be disappointed.
