Avalee and Ruin were friends and a little bit more when they were in high school, but life had other plans. They were torn apart by circumstances and it has been years since they have seen each other. Both Avalee and Ruin have been through a lot, and not all of it good. But they reconnect and they don’t really miss a beat in their attraction. They take the time to learn who they are now that they have lived. There is that suspense element that is forever present in the alpha world, but it is very light in this book. I really enjoyed the story line and basis of this book. However, there was something missing for me to love it. And I am interested in dealing into the other side characters in Adriane Leigh’s world.
