The Moore men of Texas have captivated me from the start, but there was definitely something special about Hollis. He is so light hearted, like a true golden retriever. But Hollis thinks that he is just down for a little fun, but nothing serious.

Then there is Ford. Oh sweet, Ford. I really loved this character, and could 100 % relate to him. Ford is a little older and fresh on the heels of a divorce- and the dating world looks really different than it did 20 years ago and him navigating the data apps made me giggle! 

Ford and Hollis together were so very electric…and their banter was top notch! I felt like I was sitting around a campfire watching two dear friends banter with one another and I loved every.single.minute of it. I had been in a bit of a reading slump but I literally could not put this book down. I simply adored Ford and Hollis. I love a good friend with benefits situation where the two fall head over heels in love with one another without even noticing! I will also say that James brought the steam with this one. Ford and Hollis had a hard time keeping their hands off one another, and their dirty mouths.  If you love a small town, cowboy, amazing banter, heroes with dirty mouths, a little age gap and a fair amount of sneaking around this book needs to be on your kindle! If you haven’t read the other books in the series, do yourself a favor and binge those….because Gentry’s book is coming and you are definitely going to want more of grumpy Gentry!
