The Fury brothers just keep getting better and better.  I was so excited when this book dropped on my Kindle I devoured it in one sitting!

Bell is on the run from a dangerous man, and he is hot on her heels. A chance encounter she meets Beau in a small town and spends one incredible night just being a girl.  Not a girl on the run.  Danger keeps getting closer and she is in desperate need to protect herself so she finds the one man that can teach her those skills.  So she heads to New Orleans to find him.

Back in New Orleans and Beau can’t get the girl he spent an incredible night with.  He knows that he shouldn’t, it was clear she was running from something; and she is much too young for him. Bell ends up back in town and needs help to defend herself; he very reluctantly agrees. And he vows to keep his hands off of her.

While Bell might be young she has had a world of experience that most young ladies don’t have and is desperate to keep those around her safe, too.  So connections, friends, and entanglements are not something she does.  She needs to learn how to defend herself.  But the connection between Beau and Bell grows and they give into temptation as the enemy gets closer and closer to Bell.  Beau and his brothers are all in when it comes to keep Bell safe and nothing will stop Beau from taking down the man after Bell.  This book was a stellar and quick read full of chemistry, banter, amazing Fury family antics, and suspense all of the things that Hackett gives readers.  If you love an age gap, a strong heroine, and a found family that keeps their own safe this series is for you!
